Join us as we present our Winter/Spring 2017 Session of Children’s Peace Quest:
“Secrets of Peacemaking in Native America”

We will be making crafts including a Kachina Dolls and moccasins, along with lots of music and some great stories. And of course we will play our always popular cooperative games like Sock Dodge Ball! Come join the fun!

Westport Presbyterian Church has been doing Peace Quest for 20 years as a service to families and children in Kansas City. Recent themes have included: “Preserving our Planet Earth” (2015-16), “Secrets of Peacemaking in North America” (2014-15), “Secrets of Peacemaking in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance” (2013-2014) and “Secrets of Peacemaking in Native America” (2012-2013). Others have been Secrets of Peacemaking in Ancient Greece and Egypt, Africa, the Amazon Rain Forest, The Inuits in the Arctic, Ancient China, Hawaii and Central America. We are led by a professional staff: musician, artist, storyteller plus experienced teenage helpers and adult volunteers.
